We are a modern, and very experienced team of animal-lovers and people-people. Experience is important in Veterinary care. It’s something that comes only with time, effort and dedication. They say that it takes 10,000 hours to become an ‘expert’ in one’s field, in which case you will get expert care at Elmfield Vets several times over! But it’s much more than just that: honesty, integrity, and compassion are the spirit in which we operate. We understand the great privilege it is to look after your furry family members and we don’t take that responsibility lightly - we promise we never will!
We are proudly independent (very rare in the Vet world these days unfortunately!). This means we aren’t controlled/operated by a huge, faceless profit-driven corporate company. We are family-run, the old-fashioned way. We smile. We will look you in the eye. We will listen. Your pet will see the same Vet each time they visit (not a revolving-door of short-term locums). We don’t use Corporate-style diagnostic protocols aimed at earning money; we use our knowledge and experience to quickly get answers. We don’t up-sell. We are solely interested in the wellness and happiness of your darlings.
We treat every Client and Patient as the wonderful individuals they are, with their own unique genetic / breed / behavioural & environmental quirks to carefully consider.
